About the Founder and President

Brian McNamara has nearly 20 years of experience in professional development and training as a program manager, instructor, training designer, and facilitator at the U.S. Department of Commerce, NASA, Texas Tech University, Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, and the YMCA. He serves as an adjunct faculty member for the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership (CEPL) at The George Washington University. He is a certified executive coach, instructor, training designer, and facilitator. He is certified in the Center for Creative Leadership's (CCL) 360 feedback assessments as well as the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies (CentACS) WorkPlace Big 5 Behavioral Styles assessment.
Brian has experience in leadership development, coaching, organizational development, change management, performance management, talent management, communication and conflict management, team building, time management, and program/project management.
Brian holds an MBA in International Business from both Texas Tech University and Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City and a Bachelor's in International Business and Spanish from Texas Tech University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's Senior Leadership Principles Program and the U.S. Department of Commerce's Executive Leadership Development Program.
He enjoys traveling, soccer, sports, fishing, reading, writing, and spending time with family, friends, and in the outdoors. He is fluent in Spanish. He is a free lance writer and working to publish his first novel. He is active in the community as a member of N. VA Habitat for Humanity.
